77450146 Nedda El-Asmar was born in 1968 and studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp as well as at the Royal College of Art in London, where she specialized in metal works. Nedda El-Asmar has, among others, created designs for Herm s and Villeroy and Boch. In addition many of her works have been shown at some of Europe s leading design exhibitions and art galleries. In recent years Nedda El-Asmar s excellent reputation has been further endorsed by a number of prestigious awards: L toile de l Observeur du design 2006 (France), the Formidable Design Prize 2006 (Sweden) and Designer of the Year 2007 (Belgium). Appetize is the creation of the famous Belgian designer, Nedda El-Asmar. Her inspiration was the distinctive forms of the tea plant.
